Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park

Begin your expedition with an early breakfast before transferring to the Dar es Salaam railway station to board the modern SGR train. Enjoy a relaxing, picturesque ride as you leave busy city life behind, journeying west towards Morogoro and soaking in the evolving landscapes from coastal plains to lush mountains. Upon arrival at Morogoro, you’ll be met and transferred by road to Mikumi National Park, often called the “mini Serengeti” for its abundant wildlife and open vistas. After a warm welcome at the park’s gate, embark on your first exciting game drive.
